Here is a Jaeger which was rescued from a really botched build . What his customer had asked for was an early18th century Jaeger
and what he got was a hodge podge of German & American longrifle parts not to mention discovering lots of epoxy on the forestock! The shaping of the Stepped wrist
was crude but the placement was such that I had to work with what I had left. Off went the Longrifle furniture & after a whole lot of reshaping & decorative carving the
owner felt that he now has what he wanted
